Meet Dr. Katie Thompson

Dr. Katie Thompson

Born and raised in The Plains Virginia, Dr. Katie is a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic and has been practicing as a Doctor of Chiropractic since 1991. She has her Master Certification in Nutrition Response Testing℠, certified in BioSET™ allergy elimination, and the Impulse Adjusting Technique. She also has her 100-hour certification in Applied Kinesiology.

Dr. Katie wanted to become a Chiropractor since the age of 10. After a serious injury from horseback riding leaving her unable to ride due to the extreme pain, her mom took her to see a Chiropractor – that is how it all started!

“I am so grateful to be able to help people like I was helped. I consider myself truly lucky to absolutely love what I do. Nothing gives me more happiness than to have a client tell me how much better they feel. To know that I’m making that kind of impact on a person’s health is truly humbling and I love it.

“Nutrition became my passion while in chiropractic college because of my struggle for years with horrible menstrual cramps, bleeding and ovarian cysts. Whole food nutrition and herbal therapy balanced my hormones and enabled me to function effectively and almost completely pain free! I am thrilled to be able to share my knowledge and expertise with others who suffer from the same or similar symptoms.”

Dr. Katie lives in Manassas with her partner Matt. They have three cats; Koko, Leo and Orion, and three retired racing Greyhounds – Ziggi, Norman and McCartney. She is on the board of Blue Ridge Greyhound Adoption and gets much satisfaction from introducing people to this amazing 45mph couch potato known as a ‘Greyhound.’

Image of EvaBorn in Madrid, Spain and raised in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Eva spent almost 20 years working in finance. She took a journey of discovery and found alternative therapy and was thrilled when she overheard a friend talking about Dr. Katie Thompson at a party. ”My friend had gotten relief from extreme menopause symptoms from Dr. Katie after allopathic methods had failed.”

With this in mind, a few years ago my husband and I started seeing Dr. Katie for some minor issues that she quickly resolved. Since then we continue to see her on a regular basis and will hopefully never need an allopathic doctor!

When the opportunity arose to work for Dr. Katie and help others with natural health care alternatives, I excitedly jumped at the chance! My little Yorkie, Daisy, and I love coming to work and being part of the solution – helping to cleanse clients of the toxicity we are exposed to in this challenging world we live in today.

Daisy is a Yorkie and belongs to Eva, she is our mascot in the office. Say hi to her when you are in for a visit.
