Applied Kinesiology

Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a diagnostic tool focused on the muscular structure of the body that we use to aid in the examination of a client.

Our muscles are linked to particular organs and glands, and specific muscle weakness can provide additional information regarding internal problems such as nerve blockages, reduced blood supply, chemical imbalances, nutritional deficiencies or other organ or gland problems.

Its use allows immediate feedback, aiding the doctor in making decisions regarding the type of care a client needs.

Treatments may involve specific joint manipulation, myofascial therapies, cranial techniques, meridian and acupuncture skills, nutrition, dietary management, evaluating environmental irritants and various reflex procedures.
