Applied Kinesiology

Applied Kinesiology (AK), also known as manual muscle testing, is a system that evaluates structural, chemical and mental aspects of health using manual muscle testing with other standard methods of diagnosis. The doctor uses Applied Kinesiology to find a muscle that is unbalanced and determine why that muscle is not functioning properly and works out a treatment that will best balance the client’s muscles.

Muscles are linked to particular organs and glands and specific muscle weakness can signal distant internal problems such as nerve damage, reduced blood supply, chemical imbalances or other organ or gland problems.

Treatments may involve specific joint manipulation, myofascial therapies, cranial techniques, meridian and acupuncture skills, nutrition, dietary management, evaluating environmental irritants and various reflex procedures.
